Christmas celebrations at the Home

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009
Christmas celebrations at the Home
Now that the play is over i am planning to take all of them out (around 200 children) on a one day picnic post this event. The date for now is 14th December.
* Reach Bannerghatta by 9 am.
* 9:30 – 11:30 Breakfast followed by Safari.
* 11:30 – 1 pm Groups of children spend time with volunteers.
* 1 – 2:30 Lunch
* 2:30 – 3:30 Film Screening
* 3:30 – 5:00 Group Activities and Interactions
* 5:30 Return back with break for snacks.
Considering there will be 200 children, we will need atleast 25 volunteers. The volunteers will need to dedicate the whole day starting from early morning. Also if anyone is interested in taking up the onus of getting certain things like some snacks or food or water etc. or contribute in any other way they can do so. You know very well the requirements from the volunteers. They should be willing to spend time with children and take responsibility of the children during the safari and post that. If some are not comfortable with children then they can help out with the logistics. Looking forward to your support.
The Children’s Empowerment and Awareness programme in association with Institute of Clinical Research, Bangalore turned out to be a grand success. The Children performed like pros and the audience enjoyed every moment of it. The staff and students of ICRI were inspired and amazed by the performance. They were cheering them throughout the 20 minute performance. The street march which followed was also well recieved by the public and many of them joined us in the march. Hats off to the determination and efforts of the highly talented children.
